Customization Assistant

Description

In many implementations you will find that some time consuming customizations will stress the project's budget- and time constrains. Especially after data migration it is a hasle to make changes in the data model or the data type of attributes. At the start of a project many partners create Excel sheets that capture the information about the data migration. Wouldn't it be great if you could roll out your customizations from that migration sheet? Customization assistant now offers a solution for many of these common customizations scenarios. Customization assistant was made for and made by experienced Dynamics CRM consultants.

Features

Customization assistant enables you to customize Dynamics CRM a lot faster and to do more complex customizations than possible in the Microsoft customization GUI. Here is a list of the features offered:

• generate documentation of selected entities using Excel sheets. The documentation contains all properties, attributes, relationships and views belonging to the selected entities;
• create entities, attributes, relationships and views using Excel sheets;
• change (updateable) properties of existing entities, attributes, relationships and views using Excel sheets;
• change the following properties per attribute or per multiple attributes:
  • requirement level;
  • searchable;
  • maximum and minimum values;
  • size;
  • data type with the option to keep data as far as possible (also lookup to OptionSetValue and vica versa).
• copy attributes from one entity to another per piece or per couple (from one entity)
• multiple copy one attribute within the same entity
• deletion of attributes (without manual removal from form or views, even with lookups);
• save changes;
• replay saved changes.
